1. Who We Are
Axis Agent is operated by Axis Consulting, registered in Jersey, Channel Islands. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this service. Contact: hello@axisconsulting.ai
2. What We Collect
Email address and name (registration); organisation name and slug (onboarding); URLs and domain names you submit for scanning; scan results and report data associated with your organisation; billing information processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers); usage metrics (scans run, plan tier).
3. How We Use It
To provide and improve the service; to send transactional emails (password reset, scan reports, alerts) via Resend; to process payments via Stripe; to detect and prevent abuse.
4. Storage and Security
Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Timescale Cloud) and S3-compatible object storage (Supabase Storage), both hosted in the EU/UK region. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by the hosting provider. Row-level security policies enforce tenant isolation.
5. Retention
PDF files in object storage are automatically deleted within 90 days of generation (daily cleanup job). Signed download links in emails expire after 7 days; after expiry, PDFs may still exist in storage until the 90-day deletion runs. Scan and engagement report PDFs follow the same schedule. Account and organisation data is retained until you request deletion. Stripe retains billing records per their own retention policy.
6. Third Parties
We share data with: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Supabase (object storage), Timescale Cloud (database hosting), Anthropic (AI-assisted fix generation, when enabled), OpenAI (AI engine citation queries, when the AI Intelligence add-on is enabled), Sentry (error monitoring). We do not sell your data or share it with advertising networks.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data; the right to data portability; and the right to object to processing. To exercise these rights email hello@axisconsulting.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (joic.je) or the UK ICO (ico.org.uk).
8. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
